Here, the steel body is first cut in the middle and then turned, creating an almost filigree break-up of the steel body. We can hardly imagine how the original form relates to the present one. At first glance, one is lead to believe that this sculpture was created from one piece and has changed like this in the process of working. On closer inspection, however, one recognises the four steel plates that the artist has joined together to form a solid steel block. Only through this diversity of the resulting steel bands can this dancing lightness and transparency be achieved.
